Getting Married at Holy Comforter

If you’re planning on getting married, the first thing that we want to say to you is this: Congratulations! Marriage is a beautiful and sacred bond of love and lifelong commitment. We’re glad that you’re getting married and we look forward to celebrating with you.

The Christian tradition teaches that marriage is a sacrament in which two people give themselves to each other. Marriage is rich, beautiful, and challenging. Therefore, it is not to be entered into lightly, but with an open heart and spirit. We require all couples getting married to go through a period of pre-marital instruction involving at least five sessions.

Couples interested in being married at Holy Comforter should contact the church office to make an appointment with the priest. We also recommend that you read through our wedding policy (click to download) before that first meeting. It includes all responsibilities and fees.
